SafeHome by Apollo — Terms of Service & Service Details

Effective Date: [10/01/2025]

Provider: Apollo Homes & Renovations LLC (“Apollo,” “we,” “us”)

Customer: (“you,” “member,” or “homeowner”)

1. Overview

SafeHome by Apollo (“the Plan”) is a home maintenance and safety program that provides scheduled services, preventive care, and minor repair benefits for a flat membership fee. This plan is not insurance or a warranty policy. It is a service membership designed to assist homeowners with ongoing upkeep, maintenance, and safety checks.

Membership begins on the date of purchase and continues for 12 months, renewing automatically unless canceled prior to renewal. You may cancel at any time by emailing Apollohomes.pa@gmail.com and requesting to end your SafeHome by Apollo service.

2. Included Services

2.1 Home Cleanings (2 per year)

Includes two standard residential cleanings per year. A standard cleaning includes general dusting of surfaces, dust mopping and mopping of floors, vacuuming, and general cleaning of bathrooms and kitchens. Cleanings must be scheduled in advance and are subject to cleaner availability. Specialty services such as carpet cleaning, window washing, cleaning of inside appliances, stove or range cleaning, or post-construction cleanup are excluded unless separately contracted. The cleaning service does not include junk or waste removal. Cleaning services are performed by third party trusted subcontractors of Apollo Homes.

2.2 Home Inspections (2 per year)

Covers a visual inspection of the home’s major systems — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structure, and safety devices. Apollo will evaluate the home for common safety and maintenance hazards, including:

Use of extension cords, loose sockets, and potential electrical fire risks.

Fall hazards or unsafe household conditions.

Visible plumbing lines and fixtures for leaks.

Water heater for signs of corrosion, leakage, or potential failure.

Main electrical panel for corrosion, overheating, or other signs of wear.

Home voltage levels to ensure proper performance.

Visible foundation cracks or signs of structural movement or damage.

These inspections are non-invasive and do not guarantee condition, safety, or code compliance. Written summaries may include recommendations for repair or improvement. Apollo is not liable for concealed defects or future system failures.

2.3 Radon Monitor (Free Monitor)

Includes one radon detector provided by Apollo. Apollo is not responsible for ongoing monitoring, radon mitigation, or any health outcomes associated with radon exposure.

2.4 Humidity Monitor (Free Monitor)

Includes one digital humidity and temperature monitor provided by Apollo. The homeowner is responsible for readings, use, and maintenance. The humidity monitor is intended to help prevent mold by monitoring indoor conditions; it is not a mold remediation device. Apollo is not responsible for mold growth or related issues.

2.5 Smoke Detector Inspections & Maintenance (2 per year)

Apollo will test and replace batteries in existing smoke detectors (up to 10 units). Replacement of non-working detectors is included when equivalent units are available, with a maximum of two (2) defective smoke or carbon monoxide detectors replaced per year. The homeowner must provide safe access to all detector locations. Apollo services only 120-volt smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Low-voltage, smart, or security system–connected detectors are excluded from coverage.

2.6 Light Bulb Replacement

Apollo will replace standard household light bulbs (LED or incandescent) during scheduled visits at no labor cost. Apollo will supply bulbs valued up to $20.00 per bulb. Apollo is not liable for defects or damages caused by supplied bulbs.

2.7 Electrical Safety Testing & Inspection (2 per year)

Includes testing of outlets, GFCI devices, switches, and a general inspection of the electrical service for visible defects or damage. No invasive electrical work is performed. Apollo is not responsible for code violations or wiring defects that existed prior to service or are concealed within walls or structures.

2.8 Whole-Home Surge Protector Installation (One-Time)

Apollo will provide and install one standard surge protector at the main electrical panel. Installation assumes adequate panel space and accessibility. The panel must have at least two (2) open breaker spaces to accommodate the installation. If the panel does not have sufficient open breaker spaces, Apollo may, at its discretion, install tandem breakers to create adequate room for the surge protector.

Apollo will not install surge protectors in fuse boxes, Federal Pacific panels, Zinsco panels, or any other panels that are no longer manufactured or are deemed fire hazards by industry standards. If any of these conditions prevent installation, Apollo will instead provide four (4) 120-volt plug-in surge protector units for use throughout the home. Apollo will replace up to four (4) plug-in surge protectors per year if they fail due to an electrical surge.

Apollo is not liable for any damages to persons or property resulting from electrical surges, power events, or the failure of any surge protection equipment, including the whole-home surge protector or plug-in surge units.

If additional materials, permits, or electrical upgrades are required, they will be quoted and billed separately. The Plan also includes one (1) surge protector replacement per year if the original unit is damaged due to an electrical surge.

2.9 Furnace Filter Replacement (2 per year)

Includes two standard-size filters provided by Apollo (common sizes only). Specialty filters or custom HVAC systems may incur additional charges. Apollo is not responsible for HVAC operation, performance, or repairs beyond filter replacement.

2.10 General Repairs / Handyman Services

Covers minor household repairs during scheduled visits (examples: tightening hardware, patching small holes, resealing caulk, replacing outlet covers). Time allowance: up to two (2) total hours of labor per membership year. Larger or more complex repairs will be quoted separately.

2.11 15% Discount on Projects (Up to $1,000 Annual Savings)

Members receive a 15% discount on Apollo services (renovations, repairs, or upgrades) up to $1,000 in total savings per membership year. Discounts must be applied at the time of estimate or invoicing; retroactive discounts are not permitted.

3. Scheduling & Availability

Services must be scheduled at least 14 days in advance.

Missed or canceled appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited.

Apollo reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or staffing limitations.

Services are typically provided Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

4. Exclusions

The Plan does not cover:

Emergency service calls outside of normal business hours.

Structural issues, pest control, or water damage repairs.

Appliance, plumbing, or HVAC repairs beyond routine maintenance.

Damage from fire, flood, weather, or other natural disasters.

Work requiring permits unless separately contracted.

Materials or parts not specifically listed as included in this agreement.

5. Payment Terms

Monthly memberships are billed automatically each month.

Annual memberships are due in full at sign-up.

Failure to maintain payment may result in plan suspension or cancellation.

Fees are non-refundable once services have been performed.

6. Liability & Limitations

Apollo is insured and will perform all work in a professional and workmanlike manner. However:

Apollo is not responsible for pre-existing issues, hidden defects, or unrelated system failures.

The Plan offers preventive maintenance and light repairs — it is not a full warranty or insurance coverage.

Apollo’s total liability shall not exceed the total cost of the current membership year.

Apollo is not responsible for consequential or incidental damages resulting from service or equipment failure.

7. Cancellation & Renewal

You may cancel within seven (7) days of purchase for a full refund if no services have been performed.

After services have begun, cancellations are prorated based on services rendered.

Membership renews automatically unless canceled in writing at least 30 days prior to renewal.

Early Cancellation Fee for Installed Equipment

If your membership is canceled within the first three (3) months of activation and a whole-home surge protector or any other installed equipment was provided as part of the plan, the retail cost of that equipment and its installation will be charged to your account.

The current retail value of the surge protector installation is $350.00, unless otherwise specified on your invoice.

This amount will be deducted from any refund or billed directly to the payment method on file.

8. Access & Cooperation

You agree to provide Apollo with safe access to your home during all service visits. Pets must be secured, and all service areas must be free of hazards or obstructions.

10. Changes to Terms

Apollo reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service, membership benefits, or pricing at any time to reflect changes in services, market conditions, or business operations. Any updated Terms will apply only upon renewal of your membership and will not affect the terms of your current active contract period. Members will be notified of any material changes by email, website update, or written notice at least 30 days prior to renewal. Continued participation in the SafeHome by Apollo Plan after renewal constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Agreement

By enrolling in the SafeHome by Apollo Plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms of Service. You understand that this is a preventive maintenance program, not an insurance or warranty policy.
